Reach the GPs in your catchment — not a national buy you don't need.
Specialists, allied health practices, imaging groups, recruiters and local event organisers can list directly in the "What's happening in [LGA]" section of Pulse — the local front section every GP reads before the disease pages. You choose how far your listing reaches; you only pay for the GPs inside that reach.
How local reach works
Pulse is editioned individually for every one of Australia's 546 local government areas (LGAs) — a different edition for every community, with local data and local listings. Your listing's reach is built from those same LGA editions, so it always lines up exactly with what GPs receive.
Start with your postcode
Tell us where you're based and we resolve it to your home LGA edition — the community Pulse already publishes for.
Choose how far you reach
Expand outward one neighbouring LGA edition at a time — a single town, a metro area, or a whole region. Never a partial LGA, never a raw radius circle: always whole, real editions.
Pay for the GPs you reach
Your price is based on how many GPs sit inside the editions you've chosen — a single-town listing and a multi-region buy are priced on the same fair, transparent basis, scaled to reach.
Who lists locally
Specialist referral & local services listings
A structured card with your name, specialty, special interests, rooms, contact details and billing type — the referral information GPs actually need, laid out consistently alongside every other listing in your specialty. Allied health, imaging and hospital services list the same way.
Local event listings
Educational meetings, CPD dinners and case-based evenings — topic, speaker, venue, date and RSVP, placed in front of every GP in your chosen catchment ahead of the event.
Position vacant listings
GP and registrar roles reach every GP — including GPs at neighbouring practices who might be considering a move — across the LGA editions you choose.
Why reach-based pricing
A solo specialist covering one town and a radiology group covering a whole region are different buys with different value — reach-based pricing means neither overpays. Bigger reach costs more in total, but costs less per GP as it scales, the same way media buys work everywhere else.
Get an instant quote
We don't publish prices on this page — pricing depends entirely on how far you choose to reach, and the fairest way to see your number is to build your own selection. Enter your postcode in the portal for an instant quote: you'll see exactly which LGA editions are included, how many GPs that reaches, and your price per edition, before you commit to anything.
How the quote works: enter your postcode, then use the slider to choose how far you want to reach — each step adds the next-nearest LGA edition. The portal shows your live GP count and price at every step, so you can see the maths before you commit. A self-serve booking portal is coming; for now, register your interest and we'll send your LGA options, reach and price.
Local listings are paid, and labelled as such
Local listings sit under a clearly marked "paid listings" banner, separate from the free local editorial content in the same section (workforce snapshots, newly listed GPs, local health programs). Structured referral listings are factual referral information only — no testimonials, no comparative claims — and every listing is reviewed before it appears in print. See our about & compliance page for the full editorial–advertising separation statement.
